LACQUERING ROTOMATT – MATT LACQUERING
ROTOMATT lacquer consists in the application of an acrylic layer, one on the external part and one on the internal part. The thin layer of lacquer on the fabric guarantees a perfect protection from dirt and air pollution.
The ROTOMATT lacquer gives to the fabric a matt look.
LACQUERING STORICO – SEMI MATT
STORICO lacquering consists in the application of an acrylic layer that gives an elegant “matt effect”. Such particular treatment makes the fabric ideal to be implemented in the most prestigious environment.
It is applied on fabrics such as PS ADR STORICO, perfect for solar shields, gazebo, tents, Pompeian pergolas and covers in general.
LACQUERING ROTOFLUO W – WELDABLE PVDF LACQUERING
ROTOFLUO W lacquering, high frequency weldable, involves the use of fluorinated PVDF base resins that protects the PVC layer from the atmospheric agents and ageing. Together with a special calendering technology, this particular glossy lacquering gives to the to COVER fabrics a smoother and much more dirt resistant surface.
The PVDF fluorinated resin is one of the most stable and pure resins available in the market. The application of the PVDF fluorinated resin on fabrics for tensile structures and large coverings guarantees:
Superior resistance to chemical ageing
Stability to UV and gamma radiations
Excellent stress and bending mechanical properties
ROTOFLUO W lacquering is normally applied to all NAIZIL COVER fabrics. Among all lacquerings, it is currently among the best protections that can be obtained.
LACQUERING TITAN W (TiO₂)
Titan W is a surface finish whose formulation was studied by Nazil S.r.l. in collaboration with the Chemical Engineering department of Padua university.
Titan W exploits the most innovative nanotechnology methods through the use of particles of Titanium Dioxide in combination with fluoropolymers (PVDF).
The higher effectiveness of TITAN W compared to previous coatings based on acrylic lacquering and PVDF has been shown by several tests on deterioration by atmospheric agents.
These have demonstrated the validity of the new lacquering that provides an effective protective shield against UV rays, extending the life of the fabric and keeping it more cleaned.
The result is a lacquering that gives the fabric the following advantages:
Less yellowing and colour variation
Greater durability of physical properties
Better preservation of flexibility
Better self-cleaning properties
Naizil COVER coated fabrics with TITAN W lacquering are high frequency and hot air weldable.
This “insulated” fabric consists of a layer of foamed PVC of 4/5 mm in depth, which is heat sealable inside the fabric.
With such treatment there has been a great breakthrough in the properties of the roofing fabric and that is why it provides:
A constant temperature
Reduced heating costs
A condensation-free environment
Soundproofing noises from the outside
Absorption of noises from inside
It is worth noting that using this fabric reduces the heat transmission rate from 6.8 (normal fabric) to 3.7 (insulated fabric).
The uniformity of the light transmission is not warranted.
COATING TREATMENT METALLIZED COLOURS
This particular coating treatment is obtained with the application of a layer of lacquering on the external part that gives a glossy and metallized effect to the fabric. Such lacquering protects and isolates the PVC layer from environmental agents, it is also heat and high frequency weldable.
COATING TREATMENT BLACK OUT
This treatment consists in the application of two coats of blackout PVC, one on the inside and one on the outer side of the fabric, followed by two coats of white or coloured PVC and protective lacquering layer. Total blacking out is assured. This treatment can be performed on any base fabric.
YARN TREATMENT LOW-WICKING
A yarn with low capillary effect, made of high tenacity polyester which does not allow the spread of dust along the yarn. Using the low wicking fabric, the absorption of dust is contained and expansion is prevented.
Such particular treatment involves the use of a special hot embossing cylinder on the external part of the PVC. It allows the manufacturing of different types of decorative embossed elements such as:
